GLOUCESTERSHIRE LADY CAPTAINS' GOLF SOCIETY In February 1966 a letter was sent to all past and present lady captains of the 13 affiliated clubs inviting them to the inaugural meeting of the proposed Gloucestershire Lady Captains' Golf Society. Forty-one ladies turned up at Minchinhampton and the society was born with tremendous enthusiasm.
