Ross are Gross Team Winners !

The Winning Team of Pat Watkins, Kerry Welding, Helen Palmer and Hannah Wibley from Ross are pictured below accepting  the trophy from County President, Carole Stratford.

On a glorious summer's day 56 ladies representing 14 clubs took part in this year's Gross Team Championship at Ross-on-Wye on Thursday 17th August.  The course was in excellent condition especially the greens, which I am reliably informed had been "flat ironed" and proved to be very slick.

Ross-on-Wye and Bristol & Clifton tied for first place with an equal gross score on three cards.  Ross took the Championship this year on the 4th card, this is the first time they have won in 20 years.
