Day 1 of County Championships 2018

We were blessed with perfect playing conditions for the County's Blue Ribbon event at Cotswold Hills Golf Club.

Lady Captain, Helen Clements, extended a warm welcome to players and officials alike.

County President, Sue Rawles, congratulated all 35 Ladies on completing 36 holes of stroke play.

Sue went on to thank a variety of people in the club, including: Wayne Vincent and his Greenkeeping team for their preparation of the course, which is in beautiful condition; Richard Mobley, Lady Captain, Helen Clements and Club Delegate, Pam Collins for their invaluable assistance in planning and organisation; David Llewellyn and his team for looking after everyone's catering needs, James and Jamie in the pro shop, and; the spotters out on the course.

Sue's final thanks went to Dereck and Bob our referees for the day and Linda and Sue who have been running the County Championships for the first time.
