The early starters were troubled by an annoying shower but all in all competitors in the Western Daily Press Cup enjoyed a bright and breezy day.
The Knowle course was in excellent condition and there were numerous compliments from the players, for whom many this was their first trip to Knowle. Putting on the fast slick greens was the key to a good round today!
Knowle were excellent hosts both on and off the course and County Delegate Barbara Cuff was always on hand to help Sue Johns and Gillian Cowell in running today's event.
County President Sue Rawles said how nice it was to be back at Knowle, a Club that had produced numerous Ladies County Champions over the years. She thanked Knowle for their hospitality and special thanks to all the competitors for their continued support of our Competitions.
Debbie Pringle was the overall winner with 37 points and she was cheered on by the other 17 ladies from her Club, Cotswold Edge, who also played today - in the pink!
