Blue Skies for the South West Foursomes
84 players representing all six Counties from the SW Region took part in today's SW Foursomes at the Bristol Golf Club. Another lovely day, blue skies but rather windy which was reflected in the scores.
The highlight of the day was a helicopter landing in the car park. We were unable to ascertain who the VIP was, however we do know they did not take part in the competition!
Thanks must go to Lady Captain, Linda Carney and Maria McNally who assisted Debbie Casling with the competition throughout the day.
The winning Gross team were Jo Terry from Sherborne and Jane Southcombe from Yeovil.
Cirencester's Emma Brereton and Alison Kelly were runners-up in the Gross and won the Nett prize.
