A Bright Sunny Day for the Spring Bowmaker

It was another beautiful day today as 87 Ladies took to the course at Forest Hills. Lady Captain Morag Roberts welcomed everyone and extended an invitation to all the Ladies present to return for an Open Day. The majority of the players complimented the course and talked about the fast greens.

Chairman, Gillian Cowell, thanked Morag Roberts and Jean Hosford (Delegate and Clubhouse Manager), for their warm welcome and support throughout the day. Gillian also thanked Jenny Ellway, Pat Thomas, Mary Morgan and Audrey Anstice for organising the ball draw and lunch orders and starters Terry Thomas and Nick Anstice, who arrived bright and early to see all the Ladies off.

Feedback from many of the players was that the greens were tricky and the course was great - thanks to Paul Gibson and his Team.

Vouchers were awarded to:

4th place (71 points): Forest Hills - Anne Wall, Sally Meek, Jan Evans.

3rd place (73 points): Cotswold Edge - Gill Polley, Ilse Russell, Megan Mills.

2nd place (74 points): Tracy Park - Roberta Woodley, Carol Brooking, Ann Way

1st place (76 points): The Bristol - Nicola Edwards, Sarah Spackman, Sandie Lloyd
