County Greensomes Results

24 pairs of Ladies competed in the County Greensomes Final at Shirehampton Park GC on Thursday 7th October. County Delegate Mary Groves had a great team of helpers on the day to help make things run smoothly and also made sure the weather was fine for the day 😁  The course was presented really well thanks to HGK Jamie Greenslade and his team and in the Clubhouse, House Manager Tracy Yavuzkurt and her team kept everyone well fed and watered. Scoring was all very close with the winners Liz Hale and Christine Taylor from Bristol & Clifton GC winning with 37 points on count back from Mel Lee and Tina Lewis from Cotswold Edge GC. They were closely followed by Sue Botha and Annie Griffin of Thornbury GC on 36 points in 3rd place. My thanks go also to Jane Rowell our stalwart Comps Administrator for her usual extremely efficient running of the day, however I think her photographic skills need work or do I always look that strange !
